I teach students who are blind or visually impaired in Arlington Public Schools. Students I work with may have born with a visual disability or may have lost their vision over time. Many of my students have multiple disabilities while others are in general education classes but need accommodations to help them achieve visual tasks. I teach my students braille, Orientation & Mobility, and all of the other aspects of the Expanded Core Curriculum for Students with Visual Impairments.
