My classroom has 16 sets of three bulb fluorescent lights. I have experimented with turning off half of the lights during "work" time and the noise level in my classroom drastically decreases. The students were more focused and worked more cooperatively with one another. I would love to tone down the 48 fluorescent light bulbs in my classroom with cute yet effective light covers. Please consider helping my students as we strive for a calm learning environment. Many of my young learners have attention issues and I can not wait to see the effect that this simple project will have in my classroom.
