My students would benefit from flex seating in my classroom. They need lots of different items that will help them while learning. Sitting at a desk all day when you're 8 years old is a tough thing to do, my students need to be able to move around while learning. Flex seating provides my students the ability to choose their best learning position, this could be at a desk, or on a padded cushion on the floor with a clilpboard. One of my items that I am asking for is a six pack bundle of balance balls, these are for students that have extra energy and need to sit on one of these balance balls while at a desk to help them concentrate better. Since I do so many group activities, my students move around the room a lot, the soft pads and stools would be a perfect fit for my busy classroom. As long as my 3rd graders are engaged with the lesson and respecting themselves and others, I am sure that flex seating will be a huge benefit for them.
