As a physical science teacher, my students can not get the big picture without getting hands-on. Unfortunately, my school is underfunded and we have very little parental involvement for a variety of reasons. With these basic supplies, students will be able to make scientific concepts come alive and investigate physical science in an up-close and personal way, instead of the copying of PowerPoints in a dim room that they're used to. Please consider funding these basic lab supplies for my students, so that we can make this year the one that made one child realize that she was a scientist, even if she's never seen an image of a scientist that looks like her.
