For the past three years, I have worked with the staff at TAPP to bring my knowledge of early reading to the moms by teaching them about reading to their babies--how, where, and why. Most importantly and excitingly, we give away board books to the moms to read with their babies. Moms have taken home 3-4 board books to read to their babies, along with other reading resources and knowledge. This year, I would like to model reading the board book "Blue Hat, Green Hat" by Sandra Boynton and give the moms their own copy to read with their babies.
