Hello! My name is Dorothy Lau, and I'm a first grade teacher at a school in Mountain View. My school's student population is primarily Hispanic, and many of the students receive free/reduced meals. I have a particularly energetic class this year that loves stories and GoNoodle, and we learn in Room 9. I just moved into this classroom this past August, and I've gotten enough on the walls and whiteboards to make it look less barren. :) This is my third year as a teacher, and I'm still learning about different teaching strategies and resources that I can use to support my students.
