After teaching first grade for the past four years, I will be moving up to teach third grade this year. Because of this, I will be getting back the students that I had two years ago. I would like to give my classroom a make-over so that it is new and inspiring to them. In order to do that, I need your help! Our classroom will be known as "The Shining Stars". The theme that I have chosen from Teacher Created Resources is called "Marquee". It consists of classroom decor that is filled with motivational quotes. Since I have taught these students previously, I am familiar with their abilities. My goal this year is to help them set their own personal goals and achieve them. I want them to all gain confidence in their personal abilities and recognize just how special they are as individuals learners. I am confident that these materials will help to remind us on a daily basis that we are all shining stars!
