Research shows that students show increased learning through activities which are differentiated (on each of their learning levels) and varied by interest (based on activities they personally enjoy). I would like to be able to provide these types of activities for all of my students to foster their love of learning. Through various budget cuts, my school is not able to purchase many supplemental materials making it more difficult to provide these activities. I have developed many literacy, reading, phonics, math, and science activities on my own but I do not have the resources to print them. My students need a printer, ink and other supplies for student led differentiated center activities. It is my aim to stretch my resources by hand making the materials and activities and laminating them so they will be useful for years to come.
