Including an iPad in my classroom would help our students in many ways! Students are motivated to learn and grow with technology. An iPad would allow my students to use many educational apps to practice literacy skills which could improve their comprehension. The iPad would allow students to use the recording feature to record their reading and replay to work on improving their fluency. My students would love the video feature which would allow our class to create videos of students acting out a drama, creating movements to explain the meaning of vocabulary words, etc. in order to present and share with the class. Our class could improve all areas of literacy development through the use of an iPad in our classroom!
