About my class

My hard working group of 4th graders will be able to use these computers to help with their learning every day! Through the use of math computer programs that compliment our Math curriculum, my students can be engaged in meaningful independent learning, instead of useless “busy work” while I work closely with small groups. Small group instruction is so important in my classroom because my students are on various levels of learning and by using small group instruction I can better tailor my lessons to the individual student and give them what they need to be successful and not feel lost in the group. These chrome books will help me be able to do that by keeping the group that I’m not working with at that time still deeply engaged in learning instead of doing worksheets. Technology is so prevalent in my students life and I want to be able to use it in a positive way in their lives! I teach 3 different groups of 4th graders each day which totals about 65 students. The rolling carts will give my students a place all their own to store their materials. I chose white drawers so my students can personalize their drawer themselves.
