My students struggle with math and need that extra push to move them beyond their thinking. As an interventionist, I teach students that are typically two or three grade levels behind. I want to make math meaningful and make the real world connection with cooking in the classroom. My students will benefit from these fryers and tablets by doing research and preparing quick meal dishes in 20 minutes or less. They will also learn how to communicate, work together and complete a task with success. Cooking is a skill that is preparing my students for life. I am so lucky and thankful to have a new group of learners that are excited and ready to learn each year!
