Hello there! Thank you for stopping. While you're here, I'd love to tell you about a group of students that changed my life. I was 21, fresh out of college, and unsure of where to go in life. By fate, or perhaps pure luck, I ended up in the noble profession of teaching. While surrounded by extremely intelligent, honest, caring, and stubborn young minds, I was pushed to my limits. Many a nights were spent coming up with creative and engaging ways to interact with my high population of English as Second Language and Special Education students. They taught me that in a classroom, students are never the only ones learning. We persevered through and emerged on the other side proudly scathed, ready to take on life's challenges. The challenges with working at schools with a lower socioeconomic demographic is that they aren't allocated the funds neccessary for their students to thrive. Will you help our students to soar?
