My goal is to have students learning in a safe environment; to provide a place for my students to come in and feel comfortable to learn at a pace and style that best suits them. I believe that the flexible seating will help students in their management. The Lakeshore write and wipe answer boards will help me assess students in a non-formal manner. Lastly, the Hear Myself Sound Phone will help students focus on fluency and accuracy when reading. Through these classroom materials and decor my students will be able to strive for excellence in their education and make their educational journey their own. The hope with this project is to successfully equip my students with the tools needed to foster a creative and safe learning environment! There is so much for this demographic of students to learn from school and I want them to be as successful as possible. First grade lays the foundation of learning and I strive to have my students understand that their foundation is strong and that they can truly accomplish all goals they set out to achieve!
