Imagine a classroom full of students who would: * Be persistent with difficult tasks and not give up (Grit!) * Go beyond what’s “good enough” to do even more/better * Be willing to try something new * Believe in themselves and their own ability to learn And the best part is, these are all qualities that I can help develop in my students by teaching them that our brains are like a muscle; one that can be developed through repetition and practice. By incorporating this literature, along with the additional classroom materials like the activity books and bulletin board sets, I can provide my students with the opportunity to not only discover, but to understand and internalize the growth mindset mentality. Once they have a growth mindset, they can learn anything!
