I absolutely love teaching first grade! My students are so sweet and so anxious to learn! I love learning new things, I think exploration is an adventure. In my classroom I do my best to give the students plenty of opportunities to explore as they learn. The best feeling for the students and myself is the feeling they get when they discover something on their own. I teach in a Title 1 school where my students are all from very low income homes. When they come to the classroom I don't want them to have to think about what they don't have but instead appreciate everything we do have.
