Flexible seating options meet the needs of various learners. When students are engaged, they learn and retain more knowledge. Kindergarten students learn best when given opportunities to wiggle and move around. By adding soft seats and a low table, we will give children an opportunity to strengthen core muscles while learning. Stability discs will help our learners who need help staying focused. By adding other options later in the year, for example laundry baskets for "read to self", options will stay new and exciting. Flexible seating provides an opportunity for children to explore and see what options work best for them.

About my class
