The soft seats, big pillows, stools, bean bags, and chairs will allow my students to feel empowered by having choices of where they will learn best and be comfortable throughout our classroom. Students who feel empowered in the classroom typically display better behavior and will work harder. There are numerous benefits to flexible seating such as the burning of more calories, using up extra energy, improving metabolism, increased motivation and engagement, better oxygen flow to the brain, and improving their core strength and posture. I want my students to have a classroom where they feel empowered and can make choices for themselves to better prepare them for the real world.

About my class
