I am requesting a Real-Word Stem Challenge Kit where students solve 3 different real world problems. The real world problem are saving a town from a flash flood, rescuing a teddy bear from a well, and safely guiding a family across a bridge. Students would work in groups (learning how to be a productive member of a group) to solve the problem. The kit is designed to make students problem solve and think like scientists, engineers, and designers. They plan, design, and test their ideas. Then, improve their designs until they are successful. These are all skills that I hope will carry into their other areas of learning, and help my students not be afraid of failure.
