Due to the nature of scholars’ referrals to our campus and the short length of time with which I have to work with them, I am in need of tools to help scholars reflect on and assess old behavioral patterns while adopting new and beneficial ones. These mindfulness resources will help me to lead scholars to developing the self-awareness and self-management skills necessary to be productive when they return to their home schools and beyond. I plan to use these resources in individual and group reflective writing sessions to lead my scholars to a more positive, mindful approach to life so that they will leave our campus with a new way of looking at the world and themselves.

About my class
