My students are in the stage where they're becoming more independent. In first grade, they did a lot of building basic skills, now in 2nd they are using those skills with their critical thinking skills. With these file folder games, not only do they get some hands-on independent fun while learning, but they build their confidence by using the included self-check style cards! I owned a set in a younger grade and they really showed their value. I'm really wanting a more student-centered classroom, and this is just one of the steps I'm doing to achieve that.
