My students' learning will be nourished with fun, creative, relevant and interesting reading that will lead to more reading and a great foundation for 'reading to learn' in the higher grades. With Dr. Seuss, students can develop rhyming skills to create poetry as well as compare and contrast characters in a story. Their learning will also improve with hearing me read aloud and understanding the inflection in my voice to emphasize events in a story. The exposure to various characters in the different books will improve their school lives by learning skills of character analysis, compare and contrast and reading analysis, among other skills.

About my class
