First grade is the most important year for students to excel in reading. It is the year when they can either be highly successful or begin to drop below grade level standards. The use of the ten Fire tablets and headphones would allow my students to be able to access a wide range of e-books that provide auditory feedback. This would enable students to be able to read and hear what they are reading, accessing visual and auditory learners. In addition, students would be able to reach a wide number of books of all different genres. This would allow my students to be able to gain access to as many books as possible.
