I am asking for bean bag chairs, exercise balls and clip boards. The requested materials will make a difference in my students learning by giving them alternative seating that is exciting, fun, and comfortable while they learn. Bean bag seating screams fun and inviting. This seating will be used to create a small group rotation space that will house our more challenging topics to practice and work on. By creating this awesome space, the children will be drawn to it and want to challenge themselves with the tougher activities. The exercise balls will help my students who have more energy and a harder time sitting still. These balls will be placed throughout the classroom in place of the standard chair, allowing them to "bounce" off that excess energy and focus on learning. The clip boards will be used by my students during their small group rotations. They will not always be at a desk during their rotations and will need to have that hard surface to complete their assignments.
