Students will use the listening center during our center play time. They will listen to books on CD while holding and looking at the book in their lap. They will learn to hold books properly, follow the reader by turning pages, follow pictures to keep up with the reader, and some children will begin to track print as well. Children need to hear good examples of reading and my students will be provided with more opportunities to hear great reading by having this technology.
