Connecting with the characters and stories in books opens the world to children. When children can relate to the characters, settings, and events in a book, they better relate and understand story elements. They see themselves inside of the book and wish to read and reread it! These kindles would allow my students access to many different types of books. We will use these kindles daily as part of our reading block to help open our eyes to many different types of books. They can fall in love with reading over and over again! My students and I would truly appreciate your help as we navigate this wonderfully changing and diverse world together. We thank you.
