The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students already have a "home" . In other words I know exactly where everything will go. We just need you help in getting everything through the door! The solid colored 2-pocket Portfolio will be accessible to every student. Each student will have their own personal folder to keep their writing neat and organized. The Mead composition books will be placed in storage containers close to each group of students. The 10 drawer organizer cart will be placed in front of the room with all of their needed supplies for writing and illustrating their books. The loose leaf paper will be in one of the drawers and when a student comes into class without paper they will be able to get a sheet for their work. The organizational baskets, caddie, help yourself supply center will be placed on the shelves in the back of the classroom to help our writer's workshop process run more smoothly. The pencils, erasers, sticky notes, paper clips and storybook ruled paper and other supplies of this sort will be used by the students, so that they may create books The writing prompt cubes will assist the students with a topic to write. The magnetic board supply caddie will help the students to find a dry erase marker, etc. in order to show their work on the board. The pencil sharpener and correction tape will help the students make the correction on their papers. The "Happy Birthday" pencil is a positive motivation that I give to each student on their birthday.
