I have the unique and special opportunity to teach in a Kindergarten through Second Grade building. It is actually the school where my mother taught and I attended myself. Our school supports a portion of students who come from very challenging home lives which inevitably placed them in an emergency shelter in our town. These students come to school not only looking for a place to learn but a place to provide safety, security, and care. Our school also has a diverse population of English as a second language students due to being in Bloomington, Indiana with Indiana University. Our young student population brings a love of life and desire for learning to school each day!

About my class
