I am striving to give my students options that best meet their needs. Think about when you sit down to work, maybe you like to work on the couch, spread out on the floor, or sitting at the kitchen counter on a high stool. Kids are no different. Everyone is more engaged when they are comfortable. The seating options I need will engage the core muscles, sending more blood to the brain and increasing engagement. Help me give my students wobble seats, exercise balls, and floor seats. Flexible seating is backed by research! Today's learners are diverse, shouldn't their classroom seating options be as well?
