Small group teaching supports the individual student's needs while also teaching where they are. In order for small group teaching to work best, the rest of the students also need to be engaged in various activities that are meaningful and independent allowing me to teach in the small group. I have many ELA and Math activities currently, but need a simpler way to organize them for daily use and easy access for students. Since centers do need supplies, I have also requested dice, mini pocket charts and the headphone splitters. The dice will be used for a variety of math games for students to work independently or in a small group. The mini pocket charts will be used for differentiating ELA centers by the color and the headphone splitters will allow multiple students to listen to a story online with the use of our classroom iPads.
