I made this project so that my students will each have their own copy of the anchor texts we are using for three of our units this year. I wanted them to have the physical book rather than a photocopy. My students love books! It will teach them responsibility which is one of our core values. Having their own book is better aligned to an authentic college experience. They will be able to use evidence flags keep track of important, textual evidence. They prefer books to photocopies, so having the book will increase engagement and they will be more likely to read it.
