I will allow students the opportunity to learn away from their traditional, boring desk! It will provide them a fun, comfortable environment for quiet reading time and/or small group activities. I encourage my students to move throughout the room and sit where they feel they will be most successful. I believe students learn best when they have some control over their environment. Flexible seating provides this option and allows them to change if needed. I feel flexible seating provides motivation, student engagement, and leads to a higher academic performance. Flexible seating can provide my students with so much and I look forward to creating the best classroom I can.
