At times English Language Arts may be a tricky subject for some students. After all, English is arguably the hardest language to learn. We need as many engaging ways to present the material to them so that they will understand it and retain it. Can-Do Reading Games are just the ticket. These hands-on games will give my students the opportunity to get out of their seats and work cooperatively, problem solve, and in turn, reinforce crucial literacy skills learned in the classroom. All in a fun, engaging manner, which will lead to a higher rate of material retention. That is what we as educators want, them to learn and to apply the material.
