My 5th grade students come to me with many different feelings and emotions about reading and writing. Many of them have lost the passion they once had about reading and writing. I want to renew that passion by having the students participate in a classroom blog. My students need keyboards for their classroom iPads. These keyboards will make it easier for students to type their blogs, and will allow them to engage not only with classmates, but students in other classrooms as well. The keyboards will also make other educational apps easier to use, and will allow them to practice keyboarding skills in preparation for other writing projects.
