I teach at an elementary school just outside the Silicon Valley where, unfortunately, our access to technology is limited. Our students come from hard working families, many who are second language learners. Nearly 2/3 of our students qualify for subsidized or free lunch. Despite these obstacles, they have the drive and determination that will allow them to overcome anything. This spring, our high school's valedictorian will be an alumni from our school (our fourth in eight years). Our students go on to great things. With equal access to technology, I know we reach even more students and make their dreams come true.

About my class
