This year I have 21 of the most creative, wonderful, and genuine students that a teacher could ask for. Our classroom is self-contained in a title 1 school district. First grade is a BIG year for students. As their teacher I have seen so much growth. My students inspire me everyday. They try so hard at every thing I put in front of them. My wonderful little firsties keep me hopping to say the least and I want to give them the most active and engaging learning environment as possible. I want my students to leave my classroom with a love of math and social studies, while falling over over feet in love with books. I want them to ask questions, to investigate, and be problem solvers.
