Hello! It's summer break for most the United States, but I am already in "teacher-mode" and preparing for the start of a new school year on August 1. I teach 7th grade science and see approximately 130 students per day at this middle school in Phoenix, Arizona. My goal is to encourage the love of learning and I strive to nurture curiosity, creativity and innovation. I am incorporating biomimicry (nature inspired solutions) into my classes this year and am so excited to facilitate hands-on discovery based learning.
