These materials will help my students grow into the successful readers I know they can be. The durable reading bags will allow my students to be able to take home their books to practice reading while minimizing the risk that they will be lost. The magnetic letters and stamping letters will dynamically change word work for my students. It is important for young readers to be able to manipulate letters in different ways to help them become more familiar with how words work. These tools will help them succeed in letter recognition and word building skills. The students will be able to use these manipulatives in guided reading as well as different literacy centers to give them multiple opportunities for growth in reading.
