The classroom will have several choices of seating during instruction and independent work time. The requested wobble seats, inflatable discs and bands on the chairs will enhance their learning by making them more comfortable and give them the freedom of movement if needed. The book boxes will give students the opportunity to read wherever it suits them. They will be able to easily take the boxes anywhere to read! I have begun to purchase some flexible seating options on my own but with your help it will become a finalized project in my room. Research has shown that flexible seating is a good area to start to optimize learning. My students will benefit so much from this change!
