Flexible seating in the classroom allows students to choose where they want to work and learn. Instead of having all students at their desks and on their metal chairs, students get the option of reading or writing on a comfortable couch, beanbag, seat cushion, etc. All the reading I've done on flexible seating shows that it helps increase student motivation and engagement! Over the last two years, I've spent my own money slowly building up flexible seating options in my classroom. With your help, I'll be able to add more fun and unique seating options to complete our collection. The wobbly chairs will be especially helpful for my wiggly students, and the floor chairs will allow students to flop down in any spot in the classroom with back support! Again, your help will ensure that every student gets to do their best work in a comfy and cozy spot! Thank you so much for all your support!
