In the Spring of 2021 I introduced the Rubik's Cube to my Gifted and Talented students. It was the perfect educational tool to instill motivation and embrace mistakes. Learning to solve a Rubik’s Cube builds tenacity, develops a growth mindset, introduces productive struggle in an authentic way, and fosters team building. Solving a cube challenges your visual spatial sense and mathematical thinking. Now I wish to introduce my students to the world of mosaics and share their accomplishments with our school community, so that we can inspire others to pick up a cube and embrace the challenge!

About my class
