Projects help children to remember material quickly but it must be related to the content being taught. These beautiful young ladies built a catapult to hurl a candy pumpkin down the math hall 410.5 inches, winning the title 'Punkin Chunkin Champions.' Why would you build a catapult or hurl a candy pumpkin?? To get the equation of its parabola, what else?? We are looking at Algebra 2 from every aspect available to us. But we actually need more materials such as computers and calculators. We have been solving parabolas for awhile with the TI Nspires that we have. We are so ready to have more calculators and computers. Our system has purchased IXL for us. A computer program is a wonderful thing if you have computers and calculators to use. My children are so special to me and they need to learn so very much. I am teaching and engaging them as furiously as I can. We thank you for your help. God Bless You!
