Keeping up with student interest is difficult to do these days. Their brains work by needing immediate feedback. The Amazon echo dot will allow the students to get an immediate response from any question they might have. It can be used as a calculator, a voice activated search engine, or a way to play music while students work. The echo dot will also be used an educational center for research and math fluency games. Utilizing its ability to give quotes or word of the day will be a great morning starter. Special education students can research with immediate response. Gifted and talented students can gain knowledge that I am unable to help them with. It is open for so many options for learning.
