My students are required to learn the English language while continuing to learn their core skills. At this time, we do not have the materials available in Portuguese, which requires translating all subject materials into Portuguese while ensuring students are beginning to master the English language. We cannot let our students fall by the wayside simply because the needed materials are not available. For this reason, I have requested reading materials in both English and Portuguese. I have requested books on CD and a CD player so students can listen to the English language. I have also requested Math reading materials since this is my focus area when working with the students. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.
