Our middle school is located in a rural area of West Virginia. Many of our students come from a very low socioeconomic family background. I know that my students are very appreciative when I expose them to hands-on science experiences. I try to do this as often as possible because I love to see children enjoy learning. Unfortunately, teacher salaries are not competitive in this state, and like many teachers, I often spend pocket money to give my students the education they deserve.

About my class
