Most classrooms are doing away with text books and are using technology in their place. With the Kindle Fires my students will be able to explore different apps that promote engagement, higher student questioning and learning. My students will be able to work with partners and have access to over 10,000 children's books, appropriate for their grade and reading levels. My students will be able to learn how to do kid friendly research and learn to take information and put it into their own words to write a complete research paper. My students will also be able to follow along with the teacher with programs, apps, and books.
