This project is designed to provide two class sets of headphones for our students who may not be able to provided them for themselves, along with materials needed to set up two charging stations for the Seventh Grade English classrooms. Headphones are generally an easy tool to engage learning, and reduce outside distraction while working. We are excited to use these tools, along with our Chromebooks, to create new learning experiences. Our students will need these items to improve their learning experience by linking technology with the English curriculum. While headphones are generally a small cost for families, we are implementing Chromebooks for the first time in our building. We would like to curb this new cost for parents as much as possible and would appreciate all the help we can get. The charging stations will give students the opportunity to ensure they are ready to work for the day. Teenagers are forgetful, and we would like to have a plan in place for those "not ready to work" days.
