I would love to create a classroom that invites students and families to come in and engage in learning. I hope to start this by offering flexible seating options for the children. I have just moved classrooms and think this is a perfect time to redesign my class. I have lowered two tables down to the floor. At those tables, I hope to use stability wobble cushions and pillows. I hope to have six yoga balls for another table and 6 bean bags as another option. For now I will keep 5 desks for those students that want that choice. I would also like to have sit spots in my meeting area for students to sit on. By providing a flexible learning environment, I hope to promote student involvement, active learning, and a classroom environment that children can't wait to come to each day! Thank you for your interest and support in my project.
