My students are severely and profoundly disabled and are in a Life Skills Program in high school. The students range in ages from 14 to 21. The program provides supports in the areas of functional academics, daily living skills, and career development skills. It is a community based program in which the students learn community skills and receive on the job training. Many of these students can get jobs but require assistance and training early on. Our goal is to make the students as independent as possible.
