I have a first grade class of about 18 students (numbers fluctuate) in first grade. Many of my students come from less than perfect situations, but they work very hard. We love to learn and have fun doing it! We have a fairly transient poplulation with a high free/reduced lunch rate (about 80%). Many of my students have difficulty maintainin focus, which impedes their learning.
