My English language learners and lower students will be able to see and touch the writing on the board with a projector. The visual images, colors, and details will be superb to my current TV. Participation is the purpose for all of the students. My higher learners will be able to lead discussions and assist others better with the projection so large. Less time will be taken in class writing notes on the board for them to copy in their notebooks. The words will show up on the board. Students will not have to read through my writing! We use a lot of online resources. I like to project the work, complete some on the board together, then let them show me a few on the board. This is very difficult when I have to write all the sentences with a blank. Math would be better suited for the projector, as well. Each array can take a minute to complete by hand. Projected, the kids see on the wall what they see on their sheet. It is a struggle to provide support to my needy ones because they are not able to follow us verbally. This projector would mean the world to them and me.
